WORKSHOP: Coach, Collaborate, Communicate, Coordinate, Conference, and Comment: Using New Tools to Impact Teaching and Learning

From blogs to wikis to podcasts to Second Life, the number of new tools available to use to both grow professionally and impact the teaching and learning process is multiplying daily! This 3-hour session will present creative ideas for using the "best of the best" to support professional development for educators and with students. The session will include a brief overview of the types of tools and be followed by group work using these tools, as well as the sharing of best practices both in person and online.
