I am originally from Buffalo, NY and followed a winding, scenic route thathas brought me to Prineville and the Crook county School District. I used to be an geologist in the environmental consulting industry, but needed a change. After moving to Prineville I took a job with the technology department at the school district in 2000. Recently I completed my masters of teacher education degree from EOU, just in time to take a job coordinating a new 1:1 laptop program at the middle school. IT will be a challenging next few years to bring our staff and students the technology and skills they will need for the 21st century. Someday I hope to teach science, but for now I have a skill set that is much needed for this program.
On a personal level, I love the outdoors. Rafting, camping, and snowbarding are just a few of the ways I spend my time communing with nature. My wife and I live on 50 acres just outside of Prineville and enjoy beutiful sunsets over the Cascade Mountains. For a look at what we look at, this is my personal website www.rock-n-rose.net.
